Checklist for Newly Admitted ODU Peninsula Transfer Students

  1. Memorize your UIN - found on Acceptance Letter.

  2. Activate your Midas account.

  3. Submit Final Transcripts to Admissions.

  4. Complete the online Orientation and register for an on‐campus Preview (Preview is highly recommended for all students; however, it is REQUIRED for students in the Strome College of Business)

  5. Take the Writing Sample Placement Test (WSPT) Register for the WSPT.

  6. Submit Health Records.

  7. For assistance with Registration ‐ Enrollment Services Office, Room 146E in Learning Commons.

  8. Get University Monarch ID Card ‐ Learning Commons Desk, Room 146 (You will need your UIN and a photo ID. Photos are taken after the drop/add deadline).

  9. Purchase ODU Parking Pass ‐ Parking Services

  10. Familiarize yourself with the ODU Virginia Beach Telecourse Information Guide. This guide provides valuable information and instruction regarding requirements and procedures unique to technology‐delivered courses. Copies can be found in the classrooms and the Learning Commons.

  11. Additional resources for ODU Peninsula students.

Please Note: Registrations will not be canceled for nonpayment of tuition. Failure to attend a course after registering is not justification for elimination of charges. A student must officially drop to qualify for a refund or release of charges by the drop/add deadline posted in the schedule of classes. Failure to pay will not release a student from the responsibility for these charges.
